Martin Joyce. Martin Joyce and his wife Bridie had lived for many years in the Harehills inner city area of the city: originally from the Gaelic speaking area of County Galway few people had been aware of Martin’s talent as a sean-nos (old style)singing in his first language that came to the fore in Leeds CCE productions in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.Thier son John,an accomplished Irish Dancer, co founded the Joyce O’Donnell School of Irish Dancing in Leeds.
